The Schoolcraft College International Institute awards students who have completed 15 credits of courses with at least two weeks of global- or multiculturally-oriented course content. The Global Endorsement has been traditionally awarded twice a year; after the Fall and Winter semesters.
There are 85 different classes across 22 academic disciplines that meet degree requirements and contribute to the Global Endorsement.

Assessments & Evidence
The successful completion and passing of 15 credit hours of courses that are listed and approved by the International Institute as being "globally" designated.
Learning Objectives
After successfully completing this program, participants will have demonstrated the ability to:
- Communicate Effectively
- Demonstrate Creative and Critical Thinking
- Demonstrate Social and Cultural Awareness
Time Commitment
Courses listed under the Global Endorsement contain at least the equivalent of two weeks of intercultural, international, or diversity material in a 15‑week course. Thus, there are at least 6 hours of delivered in an individual course content focusing on the above elements. This equates to roughly 30 hours of course material over the period in which a student is enrolled in academic (credit-earning) courses at Schoolcraft College.
