Separate from gathering standard data, sound assessment practices require working with faculty to understand how to assess, making it easy for data to be reported, and providing data back that can improve their personal pedagogy, program effectiveness, and student success. Further, we must relay the message that assessment means more than regional or disciplinary accreditation.
